Making Your Life Count
You can move mountains by gathering up the insignificant rocks along the trail.
Making a difference each day to make your life count for something.
Inspiration follows me like a shadow, ready to move. When the clouds come out, I shine a little light to cast that shadow.
Each day begins with a new understanding. This day, today , I’m going to change the world.
What high hopes, and what failed misgivings. Can I change the world by my mere existence?
Can I move mountains by my sheer desires? If I can cause a rock to skip across the water, I can make a ripple effect.
High hopes, yes; big dreams, of course; making a difference, I only hope so.
Sometimes I wake up with ideas ready to splash on the paper. My thoughts can keep me awake at night. Writing purges out those things that won’t let me sleep.
In the mornings, the ideas are like a good cup of coffee, freshly brewed and ready to be tasted. If I wait too long, the coffee gets cold and ideas start to vanish.
A Ripple Effect
Our Lives Need to Count for Something
It’s what you convey to this world that counts.
What message are you speaking? What can you bring to the table? What do you have to offer? By knowing this, you too can rock the world.
The shadows our lives cast convey an incredible legacy. Creating an amazing touch on someone else’s journey, producing a ripple effect in each life, and having an incredible adventure in the process, it is possible.
We are born to be in relationships, born to communicate to one another, and born to make an impact in this life.
Leaning on each other, walking in love, and praying faithfully, we let go of the weights we are not meant to carry.
Our lives need to count for something.
If all we do is watch the world go by and we simply let life run its course, then we have not accomplished much.
However if we are to choose wisely to make a difference in some way, we can leave our footprints behind.
Leave a Legacy
Opening our hearts to sing the expressions of choice, we answer the call. We are not here by accident. Our path has been predetermined and our walk is a message of authenticity. A genuine assurance which promises conviction within ourselves that we are meant to be something more, we establish our victory.
Lessons in life teach us to be strong and courageous. Walking each day with a clear goal in mind and set direction, we follow our hearts. All the while our soul and spirit delivers us to our divine destination.
In life, we leave a legacy to our children; we leave our footprints wherever we travel; and we leave our fingerprints on every heart we touch.
Answering the call is expected of me. If I do not adhere to my calling then who am I after all? My life needs to count for something.
My presence is not known to many. My success will not be shared with celebrities. My favorite things are only unique to me, but my life needs to count for something.
If I have knowledge and do not share information, then I am an empty vessel. If I have understanding and do not offer empathy, then I am unforgiving. If I have love and refuse to affirm friendship, then I am hollow.
Move the mountains in your life. Whether you fail or whether you succeed, at least you knew you did your very best.
“The darkest cloud shall scatter itself in showers of mercy. He has never refused to bear your burdens; he has never fainted under their weight.” - Charles Spurgeon
For everything I am, I learned from my parents.
For everything I can become, I learned from God.
I Still Believe
